Maple Yogurt Dip

There are always pros and cons about every location and growing climate. And where I live, the summers are mild and short, leaving us little time to get a tomato harvest in before the first frost. But come fall, we have... apples!

Glorious apples! There is so much you can do with this versatile fruit, but just eating them straight up, when they are slightly tangy, sweet and crunchy, is the best.

My kids love this recipe for dipping apples and other fresh fruit. I love this because it's much healthier than carmel and prepackaged stuff!

Maple Yogurt Dip

1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (for even less sugar, try plain with vanilla extract added)
1 1/2 T. maple syrup (the real thing!)
1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Blend all ingredients well by hand. Keep refrigerated.
And enjoy dipping!
