For temperature control and easy serving, the arms are made to move up, down, and swing 360 degrees in any direction.  So now your hot foods can stay hot, while other items can remain warm without over cooking. Plus you have someplace to set things, like the lid, or a coffee pot, or another dish.

You can see by these photos that this campfire cooker is constructed of sturdy materials and well made!

Something of this quality is definitely an investment for your homestead, but I'm guessing you will only need to buy it once. In my opinion, it's one of those rare items that will last a lifetime. Perhaps even to pass down to the next generation. I'm already envisioning memories being made around a campfire like this!
