Sizzling Summer Round Up: Grandpa Jake's!

We're almost at the end of our Sizzling Summer Round Up and today's give-away is one HOT item!! And just in time for some summer camping or outdoor cookouts in the back yard.

The Grandpa Jake's Campfire Cooker is handcrafted in the mountains of Northern Idaho. For temperature control and easy serving, the arms are made to move up, down, and swing 360 degrees in any direction.  So now your hot foods can stay hot, while other items can remain warm without over cooking. Plus you have someplace to set things, like the lid, or a coffee pot, or another dish.

You can see by these photos that this campfire cooker is constructed of sturdy materials and well made!

Something of this quality is definitely an investment for your homestead, but I'm guessing you will only need to buy it once. In my opinion, it's one of those rare items that will last a lifetime. Perhaps even to pass down to the next generation. I'm already envisioning memories being made around a campfire like this!

How To Enter This Give-Away
This give-away is open to residents of the United States only.

• Leave a comment telling me how you would use the Grandpa Jake's Campfire Cooker or why you would like to win this item. You must leave me a way to contact you either by email OR your blog.

• For an extra entry, follow Forgotten Way Farms (Home of the Grandpa Jake's Campfire Cooker) and leave a separate comment telling me you've done so.

• For another extra entry... blog, Facebook, or tweet about this giveaway and leave me a comment telling me you've done so.

This give-away ends at 11:59 p.m. PST TONIGHT!! The winner will be announced on the Homestead Revival Facebook page ONLY. Be sure to like my page so you get all the winners from the Sizzling Summer Round Up as well as updates that I don't put on my blog!

Disclosure: For this give-away, I was sent free products to try, however, all reviews are my personal opinion and based on my own experience.

  53. I just had to wipe the drool off my keyboard! My husband and I not only camp, but I would say that 85% of our cooking is done outdoors. We love to cook outside during any gatherings we have at our homestead, too. People always think it's such a novelty to come to our house and see all of our cast iron and that we actually use it! Cooking around a fire has a special way of bringing people together. This cooker would not go unused or unloved!

  72. I'm not here to enter .. just to say that I bought myself one of Grandpa Jake's campfire cookers for my birthday last Feb. It's a great investment and is so easy to use. Our family LOVES it. It's made extremely well and will last for many generations .. and it was a local craft since we live in No. Idaho too. Buying something made well is a good investment and helps small family businesses. The grates are not intended to put food directly on for cooking .. but are supposed to be used as support/shelves for your heavy cast iron pans. We bought a can of high-heat black paint to weatherproof it so we leave it out all the time in our bon fire pit.

It is really fun. This would be a great addition to that traditon. It would also be handy to have in an emergency sitiuation. We are working on our emergency prepardness at this time. This fits well with the things we do and are working towards.

  119. I would give this to my brother for his backyard fire pit. We visit him a couple time a year and our favorite thing to do is gather around the "camp fire" to eat, sing and have fun. He has 3 little girls and would put it to good use the rest of the year as well!
