Don't you love all the quaint little touches that make the European countryside so charming? Thatched or tile roofs, cobblestone roads, lots of flowers... how about those great enamel house signs? Ramsign is graciously offering a Homestead Revival™ reader a personalized enamel sign for their own homestead!
I love the different colors, trim options, and type face choices (see bottom of their homepage), but you'll need to visit Ramsign to see them for yourself. And just so you know, this isn't a knock-off of the European classic, this IS the real deal. Ramsign is based in Denmark and made with genuine glass enamel using a thousand year old stencil technique. Made to last, these signs will be something to hand down to the next generation; the house may need repainting for the kids, but not the sign!
Give Away
To win a personalized Ramsign Enamel Sign...
1. Visit their site and look around. Tell me which of their designs you would like to have the most, then come back here and leave a comment with that style name. (Click on any of the signs on the front page and on the next page you will see 5 tabs at the top - click on each to see the styles; then scroll to the bottom of the page and see more pages by clicking the choices under "specials"). If you do not have a blog, please leave an email address so that I can contact you if you win.
2. Blog about this give-away to help get the word out about Ramsign, then come back here and leave a second separate comment and you'll be entered again. Note: You must include a link on your post back to this give-away.
The fine print...
This give-away closes on Wednesday, February 9th at 11:59 p.m. Winner should please respond within 3 days of being contacted.
Thanks for participating and spreading the word, friends!

Amy, Thanks for hosting such a unique give away! I haven't seen these signs here in the U.S. very often at all. I quite like the lighthouse style in oval for a family name plate. Nice looking with style that is versatile.
ReplyDeleteThank you again,
Traci {pji2lt@gmail.com}
Great giveaway! I like the Highlander Nameplate (especially oval) with black characters on a white background.
ReplyDeleteI love the house numbers and have the perfect front porch post for them!!
ReplyDeleteOh those are beautiful! The Metropolitan numbers look exactly like the ones I'm used to seeing in Germany. I'd have to do a little happy dance if I was the lucky winner!
ReplyDeleteOMG Amy! What a great giveaway! I love the Highlander and Metropolitan signage. My house is an orangey brick and I think either the cobalt blue or the white/black would look stunning!
ReplyDeleteI like the square Highlander!
ReplyDeleteI love the "Engelhardt" design - classic, but with a slightly modern twist! What a generous giveaway - thank you so much!
ReplyDelete- Kate in NY
What a cool giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI certainly like the arrowhead style. It's a bit more country and rugged and that's my style:)
Great and unusual giveaway! I love the green Arrowhead style. As to whether I get a name or number or combo I'm not sure yet...

My favorite is the Highlander Nameplate. I like the nameplates rather than the numbers. All of them are beautiful and I love how they will put multiple names on them.
ReplyDeleteThese signs are just beautiful! My favorite style is the Highlander.

I heart french country items and this would fit into our theme wonderfully! We just bought our first (hopefully only) homestead and we named it Curbstone Homestead! I can so see the engelhardt 2.8" x 8.3" hanging by the front door with that name!!
ReplyDeleteThe Ramsign enamel signs are BEAUTIFUL! I liked the Metropolitan style the best. The Dark Blue background with the white lettering/border would look great on my house.

I love the idea of a sign that has our homestead name on it. We haven't come up with a name yet, but something unique that we would have on the front porch sounds good. Something like the Highlander Oval Address Plaque. So pretty!

How very unique! I can envision the Lighthouse Oval Address Plaque on a rustic sign at the entrance to our drive. ~ Michelle
ReplyDeleteWow! These are great! I really like the Highlander name plate -- I like the font on the Highlander style, and since we don't have a house yet, I think the black and white is the most versatile. I also really like the Lighthouse nameplate, though; red and white are some of my favorite colors. Oh, gosh, what a decision! Either way, I really like the rectangular ones. Thank you, Amy!
ReplyDeleteHere's my second entry! And I'm pretty sure I want the Lighthouse name plate. :)

I love the their signs, what to pick? I would have to decide if chosen!! I'm a thinker when it comes to these sorts of things!
ReplyDeleteNice! I really like the Metropolitan arched address plate but the classic look of the Highlander is nice too.
ReplyDeleteI like the Engelhardt signs...I'd love to have one hanging on my front porch!
ReplyDeleteI love the highlander address plate...it would look just dreaming with all the black and white going on in our little farm yard!
ReplyDeleteCaroline
The Engelhardt would look great on my traditional, southern brick house. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm a red and white fan so the Lighthouse style is my favorite! Oh, and those name plates- beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance Amy.
wow They are all great It would be hard to choose But if you realy have to I guess it would have to be Highlander.
ReplyDeleteBy judging the other comments a lot of people like the Highlander name plate as well as I liked it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great give away! Thanks.
I love the Engelhardt Square Address Plaque. We just bought a new home and are moving in in March. This would be a perfect addition to our new home. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI included a link to your blog entry and to Ramsign's site in my post today: http://ourcedarcottage.blogspot.com/2011/02/miscellany.html
ReplyDeleteHighlander house number.
ReplyDeleteWill you be posting your view on the Super WalMart up there?
Maybelline... the WalMart. Wow. Hot topic for sure. Probably not, but that's not all we're getting. I just heard last night that we're getting a huge field of solar panels in Cummings Valley. We were going to get condos in the same location, but they changed it, so I guess solar panels are better.
ReplyDeleteOh, so fun! my favorite is the address plaque! thanks for the opportunity! xxoo

Definitely the "Guest" nameplate in Highlander. We're in the process of building a bunkhouse in our barn - ourselves. And, this would be great on the door.

Definitely the "guest" sign in highlander. My hubby is building a bunkhouse in our barn. Was having trouble commenting - sorry if this is a third, I just never saw my originals come up. ?? oh well.
ReplyDeleteHighlander Lighthouse definitely, although they are all very lovely.
ReplyDeleteMetropolitan - it would add a bit a color to our drab environment. :)
ReplyDeleteHello there,
ReplyDeleteThese sign are absolutely fantastic, aren't they? My personal favourite would have to be the Highlander design.
By the way, I am also hosting a Ramsign give away. Too bad we can't win them ourselves, eh? ;-) So I thought I could try my luck in your give away, and you are of course very welcome to drop by my blog and try yours.
Just stumbled across your blog and found that there was much inspiration to be found. Will definitely be back. :-)
Lots of greetings from Norway
wow, so many beautiful choices, and so unique. I love the green arrowhead rectangle. I've never seen a giveaway like this and love the high quality signs. Thanks for pointing me to the website. I've had it up all week :)
ReplyDeleteI love these signs! It's hard to say which is my favorite, but I'm going to go with "metropolitan." It looks so classic.

Very nice inscription, enamel signs look very pretty on any building, I do like most enamel signs from http://www.smalt.com/, where I bought my first enameled inscription. I think it's also collecting inscriptions such a nice hobby.
