Yes ma'am, he should! It finally rained here last week, and now my gophers are popping up all over the place, and our gopher-cat is no longer around (coyotes)! Boy, I sure miss him!
Some weeks I just cannot blog as much as others.........I was thinking about our cat when I saw that picture and she is certainly not a "mouser" she doesn't go after anything for that matter ;)
My cats definitely go thru seasons too! One had nearly abandoned us for the quiet of the neighbor's place for the summer, but has decided the nights are too cool to sleep outside, so he's wedged between DH and I now. The other, that couldn't wait for DH to get in bed each night so he could lay on his chest to be petted has moved on. He's the long hair cat and probably waited for cooler nights so he could explore outside. Neither has brought a gopher or other rodent into the house to consume for quite a while!

ReplyDeleteAndrea, LOL! I use to wish I had more hours in my day. Now I'm so ready to hit the bed at night, I can't imagine it! Maybe I need to move faster.
ReplyDeleteI would agree:-)

ReplyDeleteThe cat has the right idea. I think we could learn a lot from our animals.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I think cats can't keep their eyes open if they wanted too. Cute kitty.
ReplyDeletePretty kitty!
ReplyDeleteCute picture! Our neighbor's cat practically lives over at our house, thankfully keeping our mice population to a minimum! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteO my - I had to do a double take when I saw the pic - your cat looks like ours!
