Sunday Blessing

The sluggard does not plow after the autumn,
So he begs during the harvest and has nothing.
~ Proverbs 20:4

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways!
You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands;
you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you.
~ Psalm 128: 1, 2

Thankfully, we are not saved by our works (Ephesians 2:8-9)! But... work IS a blessing none-the-less! One of the things that makes it so great?... When a hard day's work is followed by REST!

Rest in the LORD this good day, friends!

  8. Gorgeous picture. I have been reading your blog for almost 18 months now. didn't realize i wasn't a "follower" cause i am here so much anyway :-) so took care of that today; newest follower! We began homesteading about a year and a half ago. when we sold our home in scottsdale everyone (wrongly) assumed we must be out of money or crazy. wrong on both counts! we just wanted a simpler life for our kids with land and animals and real family values. Love your blog.
