Hmmm... what is a potager, you say?
Why, my favorite type of kitchen garden, of couse! Combining both edible and ornamental plants, a potager is utilitarian in nature (influenced by the kitchen beds of England), but designed with beauty in mind (inspired by the lovely compositions of French gardens). For some pretty pictures, check out my post, Potager Gardens.
For seasoned garderners and newbees alike, she'll cover recommended reading, garden design, seed selection, starting seeds, transplanting, pest control, and more! So if you're longing for healthier food but beauty is what inspires you, now is the time to get your game on and visit Angela so you don't miss a thing!
I'm so there!

Thanks Amy.. I'm glad you explained what a Potager was. I'll be watching for it! Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeletehow wonderful! Checking this out now...
ReplyDeleteOh my.....thank you Amy for telling us all about this.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to thank you for coming over to my blog and leaving a comment on how to help my silly chickens! They are doing well. I put out some oyster shells and I am collecting the eggs on more often basis. It seems to be helping. They haven't eaten any more eggs. The other thing is I put in another 6 space nester. They had 8 nesters so this may help now that so many are laying. It is so fun to take my egg basket to the coop and gather so many eggs. Chickens sure do make this farm girl happy! The thing I like best is they don't rest on Sunday..........smile!
Blessings to you sweet friend.......wish I could come over more often......when I do......I catch up and feel so blessed........you do know that you are a blessing don't you!
Hugs, Linda
