Ok, that's it! For 13 years I have HATED my grungy, crappy laundry area out in the garage. After seeing this post I am going to stop being whiny about it and I'm going to spend my weekend actually doing something to make it look more like that and less like tsunami aftermath.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the inspiration and the boot in the butt!
Gorgeous. I recently played around on Pinterest...oh my, the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteRooms like that could almost make me enjoy doing laundry!
ReplyDeletecovet, covet, covet!
ReplyDeleteI think if my laundry room was so pretty it would make laundry so much more enjoyable... :) My mom always had 2 washers and dryers when we were younger and I never could not understand why...she only had a family of 4. Now I fully understand the benefits...
ReplyDeleteOh my, I am officially drooling! Those are some beautiful pics. Don't know why, but there is just something about a laundry room... Love it! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, am I drooling or what? We just moved into our home and our laundry room is bright pink. These photos are such an inspiration for me...thanks for sharing all these gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend.

Wow, oh wow.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Some of those are so pretty they made me want to cry a little bit.
ReplyDeleteOH MY LOVE a utility sink. Even an ugly one. Why oh why does my laundry room lack a utility sink?
ReplyDeleteThose room makes you want to do laundry! Thanks for the link to pinterest what a great site!
ReplyDeleteLove these rooms! It makes me want to do laundry!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love all the photos, It would be wonderful to have a laundry room that was as big as those in the photos. My question is how to make a small room that serves as: mud room(for barn boots), laundry room, freezer space, and carport entry, how do you make that nice and pretty as well as organized? I guess we can all dream. Thanks for sharing. God Bless!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are absolutely inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rooms! I believe a pretty place makes it easier to enjoy doing chores--especially tough ones like laundry! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove the big bright windows! I think I would end up staring out the windows instead of doing laundry.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!!! I <3 the picture with the clothes pins in the glass jar. HOW CUTE IS THAT?!
ReplyDeleteWho knew that the laundry room could be a thing of beauty! What a way to inspire! We have a small area in the garage and it is in desperate need of TLC! This has given me great ideas and how we can really make our small space more usable! Another great "lightbulb" post! I loved the others comments too! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteLove those laundry rooms. But mine looks nothing like that. We should all post pictures of what our laundry REALLY look like.
ReplyDeleteLOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the laundry lol? I just did some major organizing in my laundry room and it makes a real difference. My laundry room also serves as diaper changing station,
ReplyDeleteMy gosh, those are awesome!!!!! Thanks for sharing! Maybe a future project for me...
ReplyDeleteDear eye candy! How I love it! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm working on revamping my laundry room. Those pics gave me lots of ideas! Thanks! : )

Oh wow! I think I like something about every single one of these laundry rooms. I'm a big fan of skirted shelving and counters. I've got a couple of skirts in my kitchen...and was thinking a few more 'SOMEWHERE' in my little house would be nice... you've got my wheels turning for sure now.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the little apron sink with the skirt on the arm that swivels... hmmm... and a new bag for laundry pins in starting to look pretty good too.
thanks for the inspiration!
hahahaha!!! My washer is crammed under the stairs in the bathroom. The walls are faux-wood paneling with orange flooring. Well, orange and red and dirt color. A lovely floral wallpaper was put on the paneling in parts, but only parts of the room. The floor slants so bad, I'm afraid I'll fall off of the toilet one of these days. And the dryer? Why, on the porch of course. THE PORCH people. Seriously. Yes, it's behind a wall with a door, but still. Just need to park a hound dog nearby and I'll be set.
ReplyDeleteKimberly, we lived in a VERY old house once where we had to put the washer and dryer on the back porch, but it worked! Same house where we had electrical wiring running on the OUTSIDE of the walls and used the old Detroit Jewel cookstove to heat the house. Brrrrrrr!! There was no insulation whatsoever! But I actually liked that place quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteSuch inspiring photos. Almost makes me want to do a takeover of laundry duties from my husband... Well, maybe not. He does a good job:)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. Those are some fantastic laundry rooms. My laundry room is my garage. I don't ever see a laundry room in my lifetime but enjoy dreaming. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLove them all, still drooling!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeletegreat. pinterest. another internet addiction to fight. super. ;)
ReplyDeletewhat a great place to put all my "favorites", since my laptop was getting stuffed with decorating photos for our upcoming build.
awesome site, as I am apparently the last to know.... thanks for the link!
Homes that are 147 years old don't have laundry rooms...sad, but true. While my washer and dryer must stay downstairs, but I have plans to turn a small room upstairs into a laundry room of sorts...love this inspiration, it's really made me anxious for the day it happens! Thanks so much, -Mary
