Most of my week (or rather weekend) was devoted to butchering our Freedom Rangers along with my local homesteading group. Several of us got to together to process over 60 birds. Since I plan to do an entire post on the subject, I won't go into details here, but I thought I'd throw in a photo for fun. Molly's helping here with the chicken plucker; an awesome piece of equipment and a must have if you're doing a bunch of birds at once. Or at least, highly recommended. I've done it by hand and it isn't too bad, but much more time consuming and this thing does the job even better than a hand plucker.
