Barn Hop #36

I think it's officially cold for most of us now (except for my blog friends Down Under!). The garden is much quieter now and projects have shifted to items that were placed on the back burner during the high growing season.

Just a VERY brief update from my own homestead... The front door is now painted red! Pictures WILL follow soon, but I actually have more doors to paint and the weather isn't cooperating. The goat shed is almost finished. Lord willing it will happen this week and I'll have goats before the next Barn Hop! Now is the time I need to line up all the things I want to do before the next growing season and then pace myself so they actually get done!

  2. Lots of fun and yummy entries this week! I'm sharing 2 different methods for roasting pumpkins (and which one I prefer) as well as how we like to eat our pumpkin seeds (pepitas). Thanks for hosting!

  3. We're wrapping up the busy "harvest" season of selling lamb too and starting to focus on our winter projects like maintenance on everything with wheels and some small building projects in the garage. The weather is still nice here though, so that's a blessing. We have some fence repairs we want to get done before it gets too cold.
